THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. What do you think has been the key to consistency this early in the season?

ELINA SVITOLINA: I think the confidence little bit. I feel like even I was not playing my best today, but I was trying really to fight, put my head down and find ways to win that match.

I think Antonia played unbelievable in the first set. I had to really find the small holes in her game. Was very happy in a way I could bounce back in the second. Then I think I finally found my game in the third, which is nice to close that on my serve.

Q. Talking about the first set into the second, did you make any adjustments? What do you think led to the switch and the turnaround?

ELINA SVITOLINA: I think I was more aggressive on the return and I was a bit more calm in a way of building the point. I think she gave me little opportunities on her serve.

Then I was serving really well. I think my serve really saved me today, brought me back in the match in the second. Then I could return also better afterwards. I think that made a difference.

Q. Tomorrow obviously you’ll face Coco. You faced her in Melbourne just a month ago. How much value do you put into a matchup when you played her very recently? It’s a new court, new climate…

ELINA SVITOLINA: Firstly, I have to prioritize my recovery. I think this is the most important because the match is going to be physical. I have to be ready for long rallies. I have to be ready for quick balls as well. This is the priority right now.

Then tomorrow, of course, have very little time to work on few things on the warm-up tactically. I think I did a few good things in Melbourne. I will have to do them again.

I think here it’s maybe little bit different conditions, so I have to see with my coach and work really on tactics what can work against her.

Q. Family members coming to watch the games or…

ELINA SVITOLINA: For me it’s really a special place. When I won here for the first time, I entered the top 10. Winning here twice, as well, holds a special place for me.

We love to spend time here. I have my close friends here. Very, very nice place. I really enjoy being here and playing here. I think a lot of Ukrainians are coming also to support.

For me it’s a perfect place.
