Monday marked the opening day of the main draw at the WTA Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships and the drama certainly delivered for the enthralled fans.

Kim Clijsters made her long-awaited comeback, Ons Jabeur flourished in front of “home” fans, whilst Barbora Strycova, Marketa Vondrousova and Elise Mertens posted opening victories.
