Zheng Qinwen
Q. Bad luck today. What do you think made it so difficult to play against Peyton today?
ZHENG QINWEN: Well, I think the difficult is for me to find my match rhythm back, as I’m a bit trying to see where I can go during the match. Then, of course, she’s playing well today.
But I think mostly the loss is on me. The decision I’m making not the right one in important moments. Then maybe I let her break too soon in the third set.
Also I was a bit cramping third set, which is even more difficult for myself.
Q. That was because of the weather, or yesterday was a very long day? Do you think that played a factor?
ZHENG QINWEN: I think in both way. The weather is pretty hot, then plus yesterday was a long day waiting and everything.
First of all, I start to cramp with my fingers. My two fingers stuck together, which is terrible before serving. Then after I start to get cramp both calves, which I never have before. It was a bit strange.
Q. What’s next for you now?
ZHENG QINWEN: Maybe just go back and then take some rest days and back to the practice court, then fight for the next tournament.
