Watch: Andy Murray shares a message with fans ahead of 2024 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships

Perennial fan favorite Andy Murray shared a video with fans as he prepares to contest the upcoming men’s ATP Tour 500 event at the 2024 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.

The former world No. 1, who lifted the Dubai trophy in 2017 after a memorable week that included a marathon tie-break against Philipp Kohlschreiber in the quarterfinals, took a break from practice while on court inside the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium to record the brief message on tournament’s @ddftennis Instagram account.

“Hi, everyone. It’s Andy Murray here. I’m just in Dubai, training, getting ready for the tournament here. Looking forward to seeing you here supporting the event. See you in a few weeks. All the best.”

The three-time Grand Slam champion and two-time Olympic Gold medalist will be making his seventh appearance in the Emirate. The men’s event runs February 26 to March 2, 2024.
