Rojer/Tecau Retain Dubai Doubles Crown

ATP Final Rojer Tecau

No. 2 seeds Jean-Julien Rojer and Horia Tecau retain their Dubai crown after beating wild cards Jamie Cerretani and Leander Paes 6-2, 7-6(2) in Saturday’s final.

The Dutch-Romanian tandem first paired up in 2014 and have been regular partners on the ATP World Tour since. This is their 17th title as a team.

They have also won 2 Grand Slam titles – 2015 Wimbledon (def. J. Murray/Peers in F) and 2017 US Open (def. F. Lopez/M. Lopez in F) – along with the 2015 ATP World Tour Finals and the 2016 ATP World Tour Masters 1000 in Madrid (both over Bopanna/Mergea in F).

Cerretani and Paes were contesting in their first event as at team on the ATP World Tour.
