World No.8 Kiki Bertens has withdrawn from the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, meaning there has been a shuffle in the pack in the WTA draw.
Four-time Grand Slam champion and former world No.1 Kim Clijsters was due to face Bertens in her first competitive match since the 2012 US Open. However, the revised draw now places the Belgian up against recent Australian Open finalist Garbine Muguruza.

Their first-round encounter will be the first meeting between the duo.
2017 and 2018 winner Elina Svitolina will now face a qualifier or lucky loser instead of Muguruza.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships hosting the WTA Tour, with 2015 champion Simona Halep the top seed.
