The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium has been home to The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships since its inauguration in 1993. Dubai Duty Free, are the proud owners and organizers of one of the most popular and competitive events on the world circuit which is now in its 33rd year in Dubai. Staged at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium in Garhoud, the tournament will run from the 16th to 22nd February 2025 with the non-stop action commencing with the WTA 1000 Event, followed by the ATP 500 tournament from 24th February to 1st March 2025. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the picturesque surroundings of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium, that include the hugely popular The Irish Village and Century Village that offers a vast variety of dining options.
Officially inaugurated in February 1996, the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium has become a magnet for people seeking entertainment in Dubai. Located in the grounds of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Centre, the stadium is completely self-contained. The stadium comprises a 5,000 seat centre court, VIP area and Royal enclosure, press office, press interview rooms, WTA and ATP World Tour offices, TV commentary boxes and changing rooms.
When not being used for the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, the stadium is also a leading concert venue, with performances from Sting, Gerri Haliwell, Bryan Adams, Enrique Iglesias, Gloria Gaynor, Coolio, Shaggy, Sash, Boy Zone, Maxi Priest, Big Mountain, Bally Sagoo and many more.
Walk through the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships exhibition area and you will find a host of products displayed by many of the sponsors who are supporting the tournament this year. The Tennis Village is on the south side of the stadium.
