Back in 2001 the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships welcomed the inaugural WTA event with Martina Hingis clinching the first title.
Of the 13 winners in the 19 years up to now, an incredible eight have been Grand Slam singles champions too, with the world’s finest players gracing the courts at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium.
