Medvedev takes Centre Court to Madinat Jumeirah as defending champion continues Dubai title defence

Dubai, UAE – March 01, 2024: Reigning Dubai champion Daniil Medvedev’s relentless desire to be the best has taken his off-court practice to the Madinat Jumeirah as the World No4 gears up for a semi-final showdown against French No1 Ugo Humbert on Centre Court.

The location is one of the most renowned landmarks in Dubai, comprising five-star hotels, ornate souks, and beachfront hotspots. Surrounded by stunning views of Souk Madinat Jumeirah and the iconic Burj Al Arab in the background, the 28-year-old trained at Madinat Jumeirah’s amphitheatre, which featured a bespoke tennis court built specifically for his visit.

The top seed is two wins away from defending an ATP title for the first time in his career, winning a fourth straight match against the eighth-seeded Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, 6-2, 6-3 on Thursday evening.
