Defending Champion Roberto Bautista Agut Opens Against Wildcard Ramanathan

Watch as defending men’s singles champion Roberto Bautista Agut speaks to media ahead of his title defense. The Spaniard has had a strong start to his season, opening with a title victory in Qatar and following those up with quarter-final finishes in Melbourne and Sofia.

“I played very good to start the season,” Bautista Agut told David Luddy at Saturday’s main draw ceremony. “I want to keep improving my tennis, my abilities, and keep the form from those tournaments.”

Bautista Agut opens against wildcard Ramkumar Ramanthan in the last match to be played on Centre Court on Monday night.
